Darkness

Darkness shielded the sun
Last leaves fell to the ground
The sky turned a deep purple grey
It was a cemetery like no other
The church stood tall and brooding
Looking down over gravestones
Hail and rain poured
Splashing, crashing
It was an unpleasant sight
Demons emerged
Stealing all existence
And the land was no more

  1. Beautiful poem - dark and haunting. Like a ghostly story. Love it.
