A Series of Unfortunate Events - Book Review

Main Characters:
Violet Baudelaire - The eldest Baudelaire, quite the inventor
Klaus Baudelaire - The middle Baudelaire with a big brain
Sunny Baudelaire - The smallest Baudelaire with four very sharp teeth
Count Olaf - The evil villain who tries to steal the siblings fortune
Mr Poe - The banker who holds the fortune

A mystical, but mysterious series. The evil and mischievous Count Olaf is obsessed by stealing the Baudelaire fortune. Something always seems to go wrong because of the wicked man, but the Baudelaire orphans are smart enough to figure the out Count Olaf's evil plan. Violet will tie her hair with a ribbon and with a click of a finger invents something fantastic. Klaus, the bookworm always discovers something in a historic narrative and Sunny will sink her teeth into something hard and think up a few ideas. Not only is it entertaining for children, but adults get a kick out of Lemony Snicket's witty and intelligent style!

Star Rating:

Hope you all get to read it!

  1. Oh this book. I remember it, vaguely. It's a bit disturbing but wonderful. Boggles my mind :D And I should read it again. I have completely forgotten it. Thanks for bringing it up again Dan. Wonderful :)xoxo

  2. Thank you Dawn :) I bought the whole series the other day and I'm nearly half way through it - it only takes about three days for me to finish one book!

  3. I haven't read these books, but a few of my younger cousin's were obsessed with them and really enjoyed them. Glad to see that you liked them too! I did see the movie. It was a bit strange to say the least :)

  4. I haven't seen the movie, but I did hear it was strange. But I think that every book is quite different to the movie.
